I just thought I'd share my experiences on here in case it helps anyone else.
The problem - scramble picture, intermintent sound - making channels unwatchable. This started on my sports channels then spread to all channels
The solution - An attenuator - drops the signal by 10db and cost a couple of quid. Basically it turned out the signal was too strong for the BT vision box.
