    <description>&lt;P&gt;Please could someone let me know if this is a genuine email address from BT.&amp;nbsp; Body of the email states the following and there is no signature/logo or contact number.&amp;nbsp; I suspect it's someone trying to get your login data, although I did need to enter the password to connect to my BT emails via Outlook today.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;In our continuing efforts to safeguard your email account and maintain a secure environment, we consistently oversee all email accounts for any potential suspicious behavior. Following a recent update to our system aimed at enhancing your security, we now require all users to validate their email accounts.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;**IMPORTANT** To avoid any interruption to your service, please follow the steps below:&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Click on the 'Verify Account' button below.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;You will be redirected to a secure page on our website.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;How can you unblock your account?&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The fastest way to unblock your BT Mail account is to:&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Verify Account. &lt;/EM&gt;(Note this is a link in the actual email - I didn't click on the link!)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Please note that failure to verify your account within 72 hours of receiving this email may result in a temporary block on your email account. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but we assure you this is a necessary step to ensure the highest level of security for our customers.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have reported it to the BT Phishing address.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
