Sorry to be dim - I can see the message but no idea how to reply to it

Open the message, and a reply botton should show in the bottom right.

There is no reply in the corner as you have suggeted

Can you click on the subject of the email which will bring you into the email, you should see the reply button then?

Great - finally I think I have replied - clicking on subject to reply was not my first thought - not logical to me
