This is a BT Retail customer forum, and the engineers are from Openreach not BT Retail. BT Retail have nothing to do with Openreach.

Hi Everyone

The BT Engineers are finding several instances of Red Ethernet cables been faulty in the G-Fast 150mb Router package sent to Talktalk customers .In my case the same applied and I was told this in not uncommon .Does anyone know what the exact cause is?. Is it a bad connector, or no continuity through the cable or otherwise. I was told the matter has been reported back to Talktalk but the issue remains at present.

Regards Salty1
