Hi all,

My neighbour has just had FTTP installed via an overhead cable over our front garden. The cable runs within a metre of our house at one point, which could hinder maintenance (e.g. cleaning gutters, work on the roof).

I think I probably need to raise this with Openreach but I was wondering if anybody can offer any advice or has had a similar experience? From what I've read online the cable should be at least 2m from our house, but strangly Openreach don't seem to mention that on their website, see "What are flying wires?" https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/obtaining-wayleaves

Thanks for any help 🙂
