That’s not a picture of a CBT, that’s a picture of a Track Joint and the markings on it wouldn’t be able to verify it the CBT and or CBT’s connected to it or live or not.

Is it possible to check if a pole has had CBT activated. I'm the first fibre customer on this pole and when they came to install it 3 weeks ago the CBT had not been activated. I've another engineer coming on 28 May but I'm not convinced that the outcome will be any different than last time.

I've attached a photo of the CBT, where you can see all the details.

Nearest pole

Derek

Only Openreach would know that. This is just a BT Retail customer forum.

You cannot speak to Openreach, all you can do is to contact BT, and see if FTTP is available.

Thanks for this information. It seems odd for Openreach to put so much information on every joint. Who would use this information? You would think that you could figure out which joint it is using GPS these days

Derek

Which Joint it is using GPS?

I’d hazard a guess Openreach know exactly where the joint is so it’s GPS Coordinates wouldn’t be able to tell them or you anymore information than is needed.

As mentioned already, once the PON goes live and is ready to accept orders it’ll show on the BT Wholesale Availability Checker;

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/
