Friends told “this number does not exist” when calling my landline. They are all with Sky.

They've tried reporting a destination fault and it’s still not resolved.

Please can you confirm that you get your phone service from BT Retail?

If so, have you recently moved to BT, from another provider?

are you a BT retail customer for phone and broadband?

can you get a dial tone? if so dial 17070 and do you here your number repeated?

have you recently ported your number from another ISP?

I’ve been with Utility Warehouse for years. They are unable to help. Friends who have reported the problem have been told that it’s not a Sky problem. Where do I go next?

I’m not a BT customer.

I have a dial tone and can make calls, including to those who cannot call me

This is a BT Retail Customer Forum and cannot help, as you are not a BT Retail customer.

Only your existing phone provider can sort this out, as BT Retail has nothing to do with call routing.
