ow do you get fibre to home when the cabinet is less than 1/4 of a mile away and im in a semi rural situation

Wait for Openreach to cover your area or pay a huge sum of money to pay for it yourself.

hi no one at open reach will tell me when they plan to run it out to us who can i pester to get an answer?

Apart from that there isn't anyone you can pester, if it says there are no plans for your area you can enter some contact details to be kept updated, although most people see the civils work being carried out so know in advance.

If it’s not on the current role out list that was updated a few weeks ago you’ll have to wait until the next roll out list is made public.

’Pestering’ Openreach will not get you an answer, I guarantee it.
