Hello!

maybe half a ring delay between mobile and handset, definitely not 5 rings difference.

changing the setting appears to have no effect whatsoever.

phone service is not through BT. Would that make a difference? Just the handset is BT.

Hello! We have changed the handset setting “ring delay” up to the maximum 10 but the answerphone still answers at 5 rings.

anything we can do?

Hi @chuckychuckerson, welcome to the forum, and thanks for posting.

Firstly can you confirm if you are on a copper telephone line or the new Digital Voice with the phone service provided through your broadband?

If you ring your phone from another phone, ie a mobile, does the phone start ringing around the same time on the answerphone as you hear it in the earpiece?

cheers

John
