Hi, Can anyone help.

So I've had a reliable broadband speed over the last 3 years of between3.75mbs to 5.2mbs.

Last week though had to report a fault on the line (phone line was noisy making calls and broadband kept dropping out). This was repaired 2 days ago.

Immediately after repair I am only getting 1mbs according to BT app. 0.8mbs according to 3rd party speed checkers.

On ringing help desk was just told to wait 3 days and my speed "should" come back. It hasn't.

I note though for some reason my router is reconnecting every night at around 1am and speed is stuck at 1mbs.

What can I do?? My guaranteed ,min speed is 1mbs but historically as I say I have always has 3.75mbs+.

I can't live with 1mbs and if it keeps resetting every night is that indicative of a there still being problem with the line.

Thanks

Stats are

Product Name: HomeHub42.

at present it looks like all you previous connection problems have left your line in a banded profile this should release automatically but you need a stable connection for 7/10 days. is you phone line no silent dial 17070 option 2 should hear nothing but announcement and best with corded phone preferably from the test socket

Have you tried connecting hub to test socket with a filter to see if that helps line stability
