Old cable master socket

Hi guys so I have an openreach master socket and also an old cable master socket would my broadband only work if I plug it into the openreach one or would it work on both? As It would be more convenient to have it in my bedroom as the open reach one in my living room is located in an awkward place and I end up tripping over wires any help would be appreciated

the cable master socket is not compatible with your openreach master and wiring and you would not get a broadband connection using old cable socket
