Because you have IPv6.

Sorry, I kinda guessed it was to do with IPv6, was just wondering why there is a remote link local address, is this the supplier?

As far as I'm aware, it will be the non routable IPv6 address of the BT BRAS, equivalent to the 172.16.12.xx IPv4 gateway address.
