Smart Hub Delivered after activation (Fibre to Cabinet)- will old hub work?

Hello

My engineer visit is occurring the day before Royal Mail will deliver my new router. I am upgrading to Fibre to the Cabinet. I need to work from home and therefore, I assume the old router will work until the new one arrives as still same connection into the house? I work from home and need the internet and cannot do without for potential 48 hours.

Depends on what version of hub it is. If it is a hub5 or later it will work with FTTC, if it older it won't.

Unfortunately, that won't work with FTTC
