    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your help. I do not have a BT Hub but a Netgear ORBI router with a Draytek Vigor 130 Modem.       <title>Slower Broadband than it used to be and below BT advised 43Mbs</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have had BT Broadband for many years and have not changed my router the period. I have been getting 65Mbs for years but within the last few months its at a constant 42Mbs. I have tried checking my speed and also a diagnostic on the MY BT website but it wont give me the results of the test always showing the same response as below. I have also tried reporting it on line via their portal but it will not let me. I have always been pleased with BT and recommended them in the past but am now really frustrated that I cant even check the line and report a fault on line as I have in the past.       <description>&lt;P&gt;welcome to the BT community forum where customers help customers and only BT employees are the forum mods&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in order for the forum members to help please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if&amp;nbsp; HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;if you move ISP and are still on FTTC then you will still use the same connection and same copper wire to your home only difference will probably be a new router and a different name on DD&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem&lt;/P&gt;</description>
