PON flashing LOS off. Happening 2 or 3 times a day for 30 mins at a time

Hiho,

As title suggests, I am having modem faults where the PON light flashes green and the LOS light goes off. This happens for about half an hour at a time and then fixes itself. Usually happens 2 or 3 times a day and then every now and then we get the solid red LOS light instead...

EDIT: This has been going on for about 8 months now (from when I moved in) and I live in a new build if this makes a difference.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Cust Servs were useless. I've done all the usual router resets etc but this seems like a modem fault...
