FTTP Delay - will my existing b'band remain active?

Hi,

We had the engineer out today, but unfortunately he was unable to pull the cable through from the existing phone line.

He said it will require a soft dig to the front of the drive to locate a better route. So im now waiting on confirmation of that.

One question i have- I'm currently with sky, who after ringing have said their service will remain active until they are informed by Openreach of the changeover. With this delay now happening will this be the case and Openreach will hold back?

My wife works from home so an internet connection is required.

Thanks for any help,

Steve.
