Should I Enable 5G band ?

Would enabling 5G band help reduce any congestion or should I just keep 2.4ghz activated only ?

@Venomx the 5Ghz channel is less prone to congestion from other wifi signals but it doesn't have as good a range. If you're having issues you could always turn it off again.

Was having problems with notifications coming through on my phone in the evenings. Enabled 5Ghz again and selected auto select and seems to have fixed it.

If not i'll get a TP Link router or something similar

5G will possibly allow faster speeds, but has less range. Having a smaller range is also one of the reasons it will be less congested as other signals are less likely to reach far enough to interfere with yours.
