Hi, can you unplug the incoming fibre to move the ONT? After waiting weeks for our Openreach visit next week I have just been told they didn’t actually arrange it!! I only want to move it in to a cupboard in front of the original position

Not unless you have access to an optical fibre cleaning kit and special microscope, as unplugging the connector is likely to contaminate the fibre, and cause a loss of signal.

Guessed it wouldn’t be that easy. I suppose it’s back to the endless wait for BT. Thank you
