BT throttling my speeds

I’m a Halo 2 customer and BT are messing around with my speeds.

I always used to get speeds of 60mb down and 18mb up until a couple of years back when there were issues at my cabinet and when they were resolved my speeds dropped to roughly 54mb down and 14mb up.

On Thursday I ran a routine Speedtest and noticed my speeds had jumped to 66mb down and 18mb up and did lots of tests Thursday and Friday with the same results. Great I thought, about time my speeds were back where they were 2 years ago!!

Until today, when they’re back at 57mb down and 14mb up. Why have they been throttled back down again? I can clearly see I’m capable of getting the faster speeds so why am I being throttled when I throw so much money BT’s way every month?
