Slow donwload speeds...Full Fibre 900

Got installed for 3 months now. My upload speeds are ok but the download is disappointing. Max down speed from what I've seen is 400 - an average is around 300. I've changed the SH2 for ASUS RT-AX86U no change...

Am I on the wrong/lower package?

Any help appreciated.

Is that wired or wireless.?

Is your device / devices capable of these higher tiers.

Drivers fully updated on each of your devices..

If you are receiving 110Mbps upload it's almost certain you are on the correct package.

Also have you tried setting up a PPPoE setup direct to the ONT and checking those results.

So many variables in your issue.

My connection is wired (cat 8). My pc got 1Gbit network adapter. Drivers updated.

Not sure why but everyone can create a PPPoE connection and connect to the internet.

Try watching this video and tell us what you are struggling with.

Can I ask, have you connected your ethernet cable from the ONT (fibre modem) to your computer / laptop or whatever you are using bypassing the router completely.

Have you got another ethernet cable to try.

Bizarre there is no connection for sure.

No i didn't connected directly my pc to ONT 😅 through router 😂

Well can't do it atm as my Wife is streaming Mulan 😭 and I need to look for longer cable. I'm sure I've got cat7 one. I'll do it when she finish watching. I hope you still will be happy to help me. 😊

Today is a little bit better but still slow. Down 400 up 100.

I think I manged to fix it. Today's speeds around 800-850 DL and 100 UL. Still going up starting from 550 this morning.

Not done anything specific.

Reseted everything. Unplugged everything. ONT power off. Asus router reset. Waited 30min. Turnd power on ONT. 5min later connected ONT and router. Asus router power on. After another 5min setup router for broadband connection and than connected all other devices to network.

Seems like silly things but did the magic.
