Hi,

I've been offered the BF Halo2 deal which would cut a few quid off my existing subscription, but I've read that I can't split the SSID between the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands - I have some very picky IoT devices that I'd quite like to keep working.

If I take up the offer, can I just continue to use my existing BT router - the new one won't offer any tangible advantages and coverage in my place is fine.

Thanks all!

Halo2 is just a benefits add on, not technology. One of the benefits (debatable!) just happens to be a different hub (SH2) which is not necessary to use if you don't wish to.
