Switching broadband during transfer

Good morning hoping can help. I was currently with Shell broadband I then decided to switch to SSE broadband then I got a leaflet posted amazing BT fibre deal no transfer has happened yet still with Shell until 5th January.
SSE already informed Shell about transfer. Will BT inform Shell and SSE ?

I think highly unlikely BT can do anything while your connection is in process of being moved from Shell to SSE. probably exercise cancellation rights when moved to SSE and then move to BT

SSE is due to start on 5th Jan and 6th Jan for BT. So I think I stop transfer could have nothing on 5th Jan not that I be that bothered for 1 day but then again. BT says they come in house do something with master socket.

I have cancelled SSE process. So will BT inform Shell ?
