There is no waiting list. The only way find if capacity is available is regularly checking https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

Hi. BT Live Chat didn't have access to when full fibre would become available in my road.

My understanding is that there's no spare capacity for me to have FTTC at present. When FTTP goes live in my road, will capacity automatically become available assuming some of my neighbours upgrade to full fibre? If so, can I go on a waiting list for FTTC?

Thank you

If you are in a position where both FTTC and FTTP are available , obviously if someone moves to FTTP from FTTC, then a port in the FTTC cab becomes available , but , if you have access to FTTP and FTTC , and currently cannot get FTTC because it’s ‘waiting list’, why not get FTTP instead ?, the price of BT products is on speed not the medium it’s delivered over.

Yes, that's a good idea. I could always plead poverty and downgrade to FTTC later on.
