Hybrid connect with own router?

Hi

Will the hybrid connect work with my current router setup (MT992 modem and TP-Link Deco Mesh router) or must I use the BT Smart Hub 2?

Also does the hybrid Conndect immediate failover to the 4G line upon the router losing connection without any intervention and then failback to the normal broadband connection?

Failover is not immediate. Can take around 2mins for Hybrid Connect to kick in. Can take up to 15mins to revert back to main broadband.

Review of Hybrid Connect on link below.

https://youtu.be/asp8d3_k9UE

That's interesting, thanks.

I have sky broadband currently. Every time it rains it cuts out for 1-5 minutes.

I was reading about hyrbid connect but the failover sounds too slow to be of much use for my situation. Shame.
