FTTP INTERNAL BOXES

Hi folks.

Been on FTTP for some 18 months plus (good considering I live in a very rural area in NI) on Hal 3 package, 300Mbps, etc.

I wasn't in when all was installed, wife was, and am interested in finding out what the 2 internal units are? I tried to upload photos but files too big.

Smaller unit has 3 lights - Status, Fault, Charging - is this a backup of some sort?

Larger unit unit has 9 lights, Power, PON, LOS, Ports 1 - 4, Tel 1 & Tel2

At bottom (ports?) Optical, Ports 1- 4, Tel 1, Tel 2 & Power (Obviously)

Any info appreciated .

Also about to go onto Digital Voice Migration!

The larger one is the ONT (AKA modem) the smaller one is a battery back up unit.
