That is like asking if somebody can recommend a car. Only you know your requirements and any VDSL modem/router will work. Have a look at the TP Link or Asus ranges for a device that meets your needs. Post back with the prospective choice for confirmation it is suitable if you wish.

Err no, for Fibre 2 a VDSL modem/router is required.

So you haven't got fibre2, you have full fibre (FTTP) in which case you only need a router with a WAN port as @@Kielty23 says, rather than a VDSL modem/router

Why have you connected the DSL socket on the hub when you have FTTP?

I believe Fibre 2 is available over fttp and as @licquorice states I don't think you should have the DSL socket connected too..

I just wish BT would name products sensibly and call them by the technology they use!! As far as I'm aware, FTTP products are called Full Fibre xxxx, but they've probably changed it again this week.

Are there any WiFi6 modem/routers out there compatible with BT G.Fast ? I just bought an Asus DSL-AX82U as mistakenly thought it was.....now have to return it and try and find something else, but very difficult to confirm 100% online which ones across manufacturers support G.Fast? (I understand the spec is ITU-T spec G.9700 and G.9701 but I cannot find this anywhere, or indicated on my contract with BT, etc.)

The Asus supported a range of others like G.994, etc which I (learner driver !!) thought being sold in the UK would "obviously" work with BT and the prior version (DSL-AC88U) apparently did work ? Seems odd that they newer WiFi6 version does not !!

I have been recommended the Draytek 166 but it doesn't have router functionality or WiFi6 ?

thanks

I could be wrong, but I suspect manufacturers have probably given up producing G.Fast compatible devices as it is such a small market with very little, if any, prospect of growing.
