should i enable bitswap? Enabling Bitswap could cause issues with the DLM?

It doesn’t on my Draytek, but it’s enabled by the exchange equipment. Not me.

The DSLAM decides if bitswap is implemented or not, not you. All the setting does is enable it to be implemented.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I was trying to avoid getting too technical.

Draytek is a brand of router. I use a Draytek 2762.

As Liquorice says, whether bitswap is used or not is determined by the equipment managing the line at the exchange.
