Engineers do not currently remove the old line. If you already have a smart hub you may not be sent a replacement.

Hi I have a booking to upgrade to full fibre next week. I am aware of the work required at my house but have a couple of queries. 1. What is in the welcome pack you receive? I ask this as my pack doesn’t say new hub. 2. If no new hub will I have to return my hub as my order states to return it? 3. With the installation do the engineers remove the old line as not going to be using it? Just a little confused with a few bits

thanks in advance

If you don't get a new hub don't send the old one back.

If you already have a Smart Hub 2 you won’t need a new one as the Smart Hub 2 now has a Toggle Switch in the Settings where the 4th LAN Port can be switched to a WAN Port to connect it to the ONT.
