bt virus protect

I have only used 3 of my 15 virus protect licences but after I have installed the software on my laptop using windows 10 I get the mesage that my software in deactivated. I then tried to get into My Account on McAfee / BT Virus Protect but it asks for my email and password details. To my knowledge I have never created an account and cannot find anywhere to do so. Any ideas?

Uninstall Virus protect, download and run the MCPR removal tool from the McAfee website and then the free verion of ccleaner (yes, double c at the beginning)from www.piriform.com . restart your machine.

You now have two options

1) Download and install one of the many free AV programs that leave McAfee for dead or..

2) Re-install BT Virus Protect (not recommended, [and that's not just my opinion])
