Can I access BTWiFi-x from a laptop?

I have tried to login using by BT account details but it does not work

BTWifi-X is for Apple devices.

Just tried from iPad and still will not connect?

It is utter rubbish, it works if you are prepared to spend all your time holding your device at the window on the east side etc.

I tried to boost it with a router which used to work but no more.

I no longer consider it a benefit and when I renew next month I will probably go with Sky
