Truekey Freemium

Hi,

I have been using TrueKey for ages with my account, it now says I have used all my free logons, ive used way more than 15..The Bt help says download it again, but its now not in MYBT, have BT dropped truekey, or have I got to pay the fee to keep using it ?

Thank you for posting.

If you’ve downloaded a ‘Freemium’ version of True Key (which has a limit of 15 passwords), you can convert it to a ‘Premium’ version with unlimited password by:

Logging into My BT > using your BTID and password
Go to 'My Account' by clicking Download from either the True Key or BT Virus Protect tab
You'll be taken to the 'My Account' portal where you can copy or take note of the 'Activation' code. Alternatively, you can find the activation code on a Key Card
Open up your True Key app in one of your devices
Go to Settings
Select 'True Key profile' (which will be set to ‘Free’)
Click Free under 'Subscription'
Paste (or type) in the Activation code, and click Activate Premium
Once done, your True Key profile will show ‘Premium’
