9.8Gb file error

BTCloud shows an error stating that a file I'm backing up is larger than 9.8Gb. I have no files of even half this size. Anybody any idea why this might be, what I can do to fix it, etc.

I must say I'm getting tired of spurious faults with BTCloud 😞

Check you don't have a video file that large.

I get the same error, but have one video file which caused it.

It is unfortunate that the app doesn't identify the offending file in the error notification, since it clearly has the information.

Thanks for your reply. Do you get the same error exactly? i.e. referencing the same file size of 9.8Gb?

Ok, so it's quite unlikely we both have a large file exactly the same size. It more suggests a fault with the backup software.

No it not a fault, just a size limit that the backup software can handle now. The earlier version of BTCloud could handle files much larger, but this version has been crippled in many ways.
