BT wi-fi hotspots

hi i am considering paying to use a bt wifi hotspot as my own broadband isn’t set up yet and i need internet to work from home. I’ve never used a hotspot before can I expect it to work as well as my own broadband would?

Welcome to the BT Community and thanks for your post!

A BT Wi-fi hotspot gives you the ability to connect to public hotspots when you're out and about. I wouldn't say it would work as well as your home broadband as the speeds would differ and the purpose of a hotspot is to give you an internet connection for general surfing.
