BT Parental Controls stopped working

Hi,

I have been using BT parental control since I had my broadband installed and has worked with no issues. But I realised the other day that it no longer is blocking websites I have added to my blocked list. I get the confirmation email and that all is ok on the portal, but I can still search go directly to the websites.

I have even tried turning off parental controls completely, and switching parental controls back on, but still the same.

Please help as this is very frustrating.

Hi @sabian welcome to the forum and sorry the Parental Controls are not working.

Have you recently moved home or made any other changes to your broadband package? If so has the move/change been completed?

I ordered BT Halo 3, but not due to be activated until next week. Since posting it has started working but took a day to update after I switched parental controls off and on again.

Very strange as I have never had issues with it before.

Hi @sabian, thanks for the update and good news to hear it's working again.

This does sometimes happen when an order is placed but now that it's working again I don't believe it was the cause in this case.
