Hi ive been trying to find out info around the ownership of files.

Do BT own the files pictures etc when they are uploaded? and also are the files encrypted?

Im having a bit of a disagreement with someone

You are the owner of your files that you upload into the BT Cloud, but you have a legal responsibility to ensure that you own all of the files that you upload. Throughout the BT Cloud User Guide, there are numerous references to 'Your files'.

I cannot comment on encryption, but anything that you backup is held in your personal account, which is only accessible by means of your BT ID and Password.
