McAfee Virus Protect - Firewall issue

I've just installed McAfee Virus Protect on my MacBook Air 2020. The app keeps asking me to turn on the firewall - even though the firewall is already turned on! Is there a solution for this problem?

Yes. Uninstall McAfee. If you look through the forum you will see that there always seems to be some sort of problem with it.

Not if you install a decent anti-virus program.

There are plenty reputable free ones such as Avast, AVG etc on the market.
