The fix did not work because I was given an activation code with 15 digits which did not work.

Hi, @Not-a-clue I'm really sorry to see you've had trouble with our BT Virus protect activation code. I've started your own thread as the thread you posted on was for the following error message when trying to get an activation code "We had trouble connecting to the network. Please try again later."

As you've been provided with a code that won't work it's a different issue and we'll be happy to get a fault reported so that can be fixed. I'll send you a private message in a moment so you can get in touch with the moderation team and we'll be happy to help.
