Same thing here this morning. Kept getting "an error occurred, the application cannot contiue and will be paused". I had to close BT Cloud and then re-start it several times, and eventually it "appeard" to work without the error message.

I have been using BT Cloud for ages and went through the terrible saga of it not working and deleting files. However, its ben stable for a while - but the last couple of weeks its says

"an error occurred, the application cannot contiue and will be paused". This is happening EVERY SINGLE DAY. the only way to solve it is to exit BT cloud and the restart it - I cant do that every day!!

I am using 21.8.9 on W10

Anyone else experiencing the same thing? driving me crazy

I had the same thing, yes.

I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling, but whilst I don't get that error message any more, my backups don't work.

Terrible product. Kids at school could write something better.

Hi

I've been having a succession of 'unexpected error' messages for weeks when I've logged on and documents of BT Cloud has not been backed up from July 2021! I know I should have checked but I back up with iCloud as well.

I have a ~ 9 year old desk top Mac running Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. Can anyone advise please?

Same problem for me. Suddenly started getting the dreaded "An unexpected error has occurred" message again. Had it for 3 days now.

Will try and uninstall and install trick and see if that makes a difference.
