I had Norton installed on my M1 Mac which had to have Rosetta 2 installed to run.

I today updated my Mac to Monterey 12.1 which completely knackered my Mac and appears to be because of NORTON.

The install went fine and on reboot my Mac had no internet access despite being connected to my router as usual.

Bit of digging seemed to indicate that Rosetta 2 was uninstalled during the latest update which caused Norton to disable internet access.

The FIX - boot into safe mode, run Norton which will prompted the install of Rosetta 2 again. Reboot machine normally and all is working as expected.

When will Norton run natively on M1 Mac's? this is not an ideal solution - most Mac AV's now will run natively...

I hope this fix helps someone.
