      <title>BT Virus Protect unable to install Norton</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Have just purchased a new laptop and trying to install Norton through BT website.&amp;nbsp; Account is showing 'Active' but when click on download Norton I get the following message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H2&gt;Norton Security cannot be installed on your operating system&lt;/H2&gt;&lt;P&gt;The new laptop is running Windows 11 Home in S mode&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help would be much appreciated&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks...Lee&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thank you for posting. You would need to switch out of S mode to be able to download BT Virus Protect.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;"&lt;SPAN&gt;Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode. "&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
