I have a iblockcube smart plug (model M1)

I have a BT Home Smart Hub 2

However, when I try to pair / connect the plug via the app, its not finding it.

When I go into the hub manager settings it shows that both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless settings are “ON”.

Do I have to disable / turn off the 5Ghz from the home hub manager, in order for it to work? Will this affect an effect on all my other devices connected on the network

Thanks for any guidance

For some bizarre reason smart plugs don't seem to like the 5Ghz wifi being on although they can't 'see' it if they are only 2.4Ghz. What seems to work from other posts on the forum, is to temporarily disable the 5Ghz wifi, connect the smart plug and then re-enable the 5Ghz.
