hub 6

epson stylus printer not seeing the ssid of my hub 6 but sees my old hub 5. any ideas?

have you turned of smart setup

Turn Off smart setup

have you split the networks

yes i have split the networks and turned smart hub off

when i try to set up wireless printing i cannot see the hub 6 in the ssid list. i have plugged in my old hub 5 and it appeared straight away

i cannot see any difference in the wireless setup between the hub 5 and 6

printer reset, can only see the hub 5 and my neighbours router

Its possible that the wireless encryption on the HH6 is not supported by your printer. I am not sure whether there is an option to change that on the HH6, otherwise you will just have to keep using the HH5.

It mat be worth doing a factory reset on the home hub 6, to see i8f it helps.

Are you sure that the 2.4GHz is being transmitted, as your other devices may be connecting on 5GHz?

Make sure the HH5 is turned off when you do any tests.

did you actually reset printer back to factory settings as that should delete any record of hh5 provided it is not connected

it appears that the 2.4gh wireless is not working. it says it is on in the advanced settings but shows off on the home page

Try a factory reset first. If that does not fix it, then it means that the 2.4GHz wireless module is faulty, and you would need a replacement home hub.

just done a factory reset, no change.

do i need to contact bt to change the hub?

if you did factory reset by pressing and holding recessed button on back 20/30 secs until light flash and there is still a problem then phone 150 and request a replacement
