I have a BT Smart Hub type A which I've been using without any issues for several years and last year I added a Whole Home system with units connected via wifi and where the location is remote from the main hub the Whole Home unit is connected via ethernet cable. I have two network printers connected via cable back to the main Smart Hub. All has been working well with no issues until recently, I found the the printers appeared to be offline. The only way I could use these printers is by connecting to the router via a network cable or logging into the wifi connection of the Smart Hub. If I was logged in via the wifi of a Whole Home unit, I couldn't print.

I've spent hours trying to resolve this by updating printer drivers etc but to no avail. I've also used fixed IP addresses for the printers but nothing has worked. If I need to print, I cannot use the Whole Home wifi connection.

I'm using PCs with Windows 10 Enterprise and Professional OS.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

David
