Since the beginning of the year I've had FTTP with BT and the BT Smart Hub 2 router.

I have a problem with my Android smartphone where the Wi-Fi connection seems to drop every 20 minutes or so and reconnects a few seconds later. For example, when I am watching vids on YouTube I often see a green banner pop up from the bottom saying 'Back Online' which happens because the Wi-Fi has disconnected for a few seconds.

The big problem is that if the phone is sleeping and the Wi-Fi disconnects, then it will NOT reconnect automatically until the phone is manually waken. So this can be very problematic as it causes me to miss constantly notifications and also interrupts downloads I have running on the phone.

Before I switched to BT I was with Sky and I had the exact same problem. I managed to solve it by deselecting an option called 'Enable IPv6 from LAN side' in the router options. But on the BT router I do not see this setting.

Any advice?
