BT Mini Connector Slow Speed

Hi, I have 5 mini connectors set up in my house. I'm using the latest mini connector to connect an MS Surface Pro through ethernet. The performance of the latest seems very slow. I'm getting 6MB/s through the wired connection but if I connect through Wifi I'm getting 25 MB/s. In the next room, which also uses a mini connector, I'm getting 45 MB/s which is the kind of speed I'd hoped to get on the Surface Pro.

Any ideas how to improve performance on the latest mini connector?

Is the room where performance is poor on the same ring main as the rest of the house or was it built later and has its own mains circuit?

Hi, both rooms are on the same ring main circuit.

Think this seems to have sorted itself now. Tried various combinations of devices and locations and eventually managed to get it to work where I wanted. Seemed to take a long while to settle down and give a reliable signal but working now.
