Hi,

I received my new Smart Hub 2 and disc today and it works fine with 2 phones, a Mac and a laptop. However on the older PC with Vista, the internet just says ‘you are not connected to the internet’ despite there being a good signal and the diagnostic tool saying it’s the router.
I’ve trawled the internet for answers but can seem to find anything to help. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You may find that your Vista PC is not capable of dealing with the latest technology.

You should check to see if there is any updated drivers for the network card in your PC. Use the network card or the PC's manufactures web site rather than using Windows which stopped updates for Vista in 2012.

If you can not get any up to date drivers you could try a wireless USB dongle which is compatible with Vista and see if that helps. The dongles can be bought for under £10.

Thank you so much for your help - there were no updates possible but I have bought a dongle and all is up and running 🙂
