Afternoon,

I'm having a strange issue with my Home Hub set up.

Up till recently, we had no issues.

We run an ethernet cable from our Smart Hub 2 to a 5 port TP-Link switch. I have Full Fibre 900 with BT Halo 2.

Up till a few days ago we would get full speed to the two desktops connected to the switch but this is now maxing out at around 94Mbps.

I've checked the Hub interface and everything seems in order;

What am I missing?

WiFi connected devices are getting around 400Mbps as you'd expect so the line in seems to be fine.

Diagnostics 101, bypass the switch if the speed goes to 900 then the fault lies in the switch. If not then set up a direct PPPoE connection from a wired device direct to the ONT.

Yeah I think I've narrowed it down to a faulty cable as after switching it between switch / desktop directly it appears to have died!
