    <description>&lt;P&gt;I think you mean Ethernet switch not PPPoE switch. But no, you just need an Ethernet cable to each access point from the router.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Or did you mean POE, power over Ethernet? If the WAPS are not mains powered, then yes, you will need a method of power injection as the hub doesn't supply POE.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Adding Access Points for stronger speed/range</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I have made the decision to purchase&amp;nbsp; ubiquiti access points. one for the&amp;nbsp; outdoor space and one of the bedroom in home.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;signal is drops out outdoors and in one of the bedrooms, even with a very powerful Asus AX88u Wifi 6 router. My question is&amp;nbsp; would i need an addition PPOE switch for the access points to work or would a Cat 6 cable from the router to the outdoor space and into the access point work fine.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;yea POE i think one of the access points need power for it work like a switch adaptor or some sort i dont think that powering it with ethernet from the router would not work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
