Splitting Wireless Bands on BT Homehub 6

Hi, Over the years I have successfully splits the wireless bands on a BT homehub 6, however when I tried to spilt the 2.4 and 5GB channels, on my daughters hub the " Separate Bands button is missing.

I went in to Wireless, Change Settings, enter Admin password, the Separate Bands button is missing. Can anyone please help.

If it's the SH2, you can't split the bands.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I thought all Hub 6's had the facility to have the channels split. This hub is approx. 2 years old. How do I know if it is the SH2

It will say Smart Hub 2 at the top of the page

It says BT Smart Hub Manager

as long as it does not say Smart hub 2 manager then go to hub manager then try advanced settings then wireless then change settings and see if that allows you to split network
