My work laptop started to struggle to connect to my smart hub 2 after Xmas and now won’t connect at all. Everything else in the house connects.

in Jan the laptop started to take most of Monday to connect, that then stretched to Tuesday and now cannot connect at all.
Work service call can’t resolve and can’t find an issue. Laptop will connect to other wifi just not mine

got a second work laptop and this does exactly the same

my laptop has successfully connected at home for years

done all manner of resets on laptop - all points to my smart hub.
will connect by Ethernet cable but not Wi-fi extender

any suggestions welcomed

thanks

Not yet thanks

I was put off when I saw the BT message to record config before doing so. Is this right or is it just like doing a hard reset on a laptop and everything sets back up as before.
I guess I will have to reconnect Sky etc

thanks

It just puts the hub back to default settings, unless you have made a lot of configuration changes such as port forwarding, there is no need to backup the config. Just remember to disable Smart Setup again after the reset.
